Niagara-on-the-Lake- NOTL Hydro is pleased to announce the hiring of Tim Curtis as its next President and General Manager. Mr. Curtis will start his new duties on July 21.
Tim comes from the private sector where he spent the past decade as a Treasurer/CFO for various companies. Prior to that he served from 1998-2004 as Vice President of Finance for Canadian Niagara Power, a hydro utility based out of Fort Erie.
“We look forward to welcoming Tim to his new role. He will be expected to continue to lead the utility in an efficient manner and provide exceptional customer service to our shareholder and customers” stated Jim Ryan, Board Chair.
Mr. Curtis is a resident of St. Catharines. He currently serves on the board of St. Catharines Hydro and previously held a position on the Brantford Hydro Board. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree and is a Chartered Accountant.
Mr. Ryan also thanked the Town’s CAO; “A big thank you to Mike Galloway for filling in as our President over the past year. Mike has provided the Board with solid interim leadership of the company while we searched to fill the vacant position”.
